A website copy audit is a great way to level up your current website without paying for an entire overhaul. I always advertise this service to my copywriting DIY-ers looking for impactful suggestions with a quick turnaround time.
Maybe you have website copy that you like but aren’t getting the results you need. Or maybe you’re looking to get a professional copywriter’s eyes on your work. Or maybe you’re just here for funsies and wanna hang out. Whatever it is, I’m so glad you’ve found this page. Now, let’s see if a website copy audit is right for you.
What exactly is a website copy audit?
Anything with the word “audit” sounds scary. This is not—I promise. A website copy audit is a service I offer that gives DIY-ers suggestions and action steps to improve their current copy. You get a set of professional eyes on your website without having to pay the full price of my other copywriting services. See, not so scary! Plus, we love a deal.
What’s the process of a website copy audit?
It’s super simple.
Step 1: Once you book and pay your invoice, I’ll send you a questionnaire to officially kick things off.
Step 2: We’ll schedule a 45-minute call to talk through your goals so I have a crystal clear understanding of how to best serve you.
Step 3: You kick your feet up while I get to work on your website suggestions.
Step 4: I’ll send you your revisions via a doc or deck before our call to discuss my suggestions.
Step 5: We’ll spend an hour going through every suggestion and any questions you may have.
Step 6: We celebrate! You’re on your way to being a copywriting pro.
The best part? The entire process takes just five days.
Who should book this service?
You should book this service if you have an existing website full of already finished copy. I personally recommend having at least 4-5 pages built out so you get the most bang for your buck. However, the only requirement is having words on your website.
A few other things to consider
The website copy audit is my only service that has to be paid in full before we start. This is due to the quick turnaround period.
Have more questions about the copy audit? I’m all ears.
